Huang Mei Gui (Yellow Rose) is a recently developed cultivar produced from huang guan yin and huang dan, certified in 2005 as a Fujian standard culativar. It is also known as 506.
The tea is known for a warm floral fragrance with very rose like characteristics. I enjoy the floral and spicy fragrance of this tea. The soup has some woody characteristics with a sweet finish.
