Gao Shan Rou Gui
高山肉桂
A somewhat lighter high mountain rou gui with pleasant texture and a fruity fragrance. This tea is from my uncle, who produced our previous Gao Shan Rou Gui. The name "Gao Shan" means high mountain, as this garden is located at a higher altitude than most of Wuyishan. The garden is weeded with hand tools and pests are controlled with sticky traps and non-chemical means.
This tea does best when brewed with shorter steeps and when there is not too much time between steeps.
