Winter Tea
Large 50g package of winter tea from 2021 harvest. This tea was featured in the tea club. Due to a shipping issue we ended up with quite a few more than expected.
The tea has a classic winter harvest yancha profile, it is nutty and rich. The processing is fairly light (as winter tea is usually processed) but that does not bring an overwhelming floral character as it does in the spring harvest. This tea is from my oldest aunt, who produces our lao cong shui xian. The location is very good, but since the winter harvest is not nearly as well regarded in Wuyishan as the spring harvest the price is much lower than her spring products.
